On October 23rd, the Montrose Women's March held a powerful ballot drop to unite in the fight for reproductive rights, equality for all, and the future of our democracy. Many participants donned white to honor the legacy of women's suffrage and celebrate their right to vote.
A big shoutout to everyone who helped build the floats and marched with us on July 4th. Our parade presence spanned about 300 yards, and we handed out 1,800 frozen pops to kids along the parade route. (07-04-2024)
Mildred Portillo is one of the $1000 recipients of the Gayle Clarke Scholarship, in collaboration with the Montrose County Democratic Party. Mildred will attend CSU Pueblo in the fall, majoring in Criminology. (06-25-2024)
