An Open Letter to David Hogg:
As the chair of the Montrose County Democratic Party, I represent thousands of citizens of Colorado Congressional District 3 who did not vote for Lauren Boebert the elected representative from this district. None of us support or condone her actions, tweets, statements, or proposed legislation. We are ashamed and embarrassed by her recent tweet to you. You and all those who suffered from the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School deserve only respect and compassion. We would like to apologize for her comments. Please understand there are many kind, rational and compassionate people in this district who do not share her beliefs.
