The Montrose County Democratic Party is honored to partner with Housing Resources of Western Colorado (HRWC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for our next community outreach drive initiative.

In addition to its current housing resource programs, HRWC now also helps to provide critical resources and items to our neighbors who are struggling to recover and need basic goods that are typically underappreciated by many of us.

These rudimentary essentials can make the difference between a day with dignity and access to services that require online applications (like employment, housing, and other support opportunities), versus a day of simply surviving.

From March 8th to April 3rd, 2021, 100% of proceeds received will support and help to lift up our neighbors and community members who’ve been financially and emotionally devastated as a result of the disastrous economic conditions wrought by the worst health crisis our country has faced since 1918.

Housing Resources of Western Colorado has offered vital housing resources for 44 years here in Western Colorado but in April of 2020, HRWC extended its services beyond its currently established support programs, to reach out in support of those members of our community who are currently experiencing homelessness or, are on the verge of homelessness due to circumstances beyond their control.

All items are so gratefully appreciated and may be dropped off at the Montrose County Democrats office located at 11 South Townsend, Montrose from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

**All gifts to this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization are tax deductible.
