The Montrose County Democratic Party, in partnership with Sharing Ministries Food Bank in Montrose, is pleased to announce a food drive for the month of January. It will benefit our community and our neighbors who have been financially impacted by the economic damage brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Food and cash donations gratefully accepted from January 5th through January 30th at the Montrose County Democratic Headquarters, located at 11 S. Townsend Avenue in Montrose on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
100% of any and all cash donations will be donated to Sharing Ministries for the essential work they perform for our community.
HIGHEST PRIORITY ITEMS REQUESTED INCLUDE CEREAL, SOUP, TUNA, PEANUT BUTTER, SUGAR, FLOUR, SPAGHETTI NOODLES, SPAGHETTI SAUCE.
Please consider donating stable shelf-life items that can be readily used and will make a real nutritional impact. Cash donations (payable to Sharing Ministries Food Bank) also go a long way in enabling food to be purchased at wholesale prices.
