The League of Women Voters to host ballot issues forum

Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 5:30 PM |The League of Women Voters of the Uncompahgre Valley will host a Colorado State Ballot Issues Forum on Thursday, October 12 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Montrose Regional Library, 320 S. Second St. in Montrose.

Attendees will learn more and discuss the two-state ballot issues that will be on the Nov. 7 election ballot: Proposition HH, Senate Bill 23-303, Reduce Property Taxes and Retain State Revenue and Proposition II, House Bill 23-1290, Retain Nicotine Tax Revenue in Excess of Blue Book Estimate (for preschool programs).
