MCDP Celebrates Montrose County School District Educators and Staff with Our 5th Annual Teacher Appreciation Campaign

As the school year wraps up, the MCDP Outreach Committee wants to take a moment to recognize the amazing educators and staff of the Montrose County School District through our fifth annual Teacher Appreciation campaign.

Teaching is a tough job. Educators face many challenges, including limited funding, a lot of paperwork, and long hours. They strive to meet the needs of all their students while constantly adjusting to changes in the curriculum due to various pressures. Plus, ongoing threats from extreme groups make it even more important to have effective educational strategies in place.

Although everyone’s reasons for becoming a teacher are personal, most educators share a common goal: to make a lasting difference in their students’ lives. They aim to inspire a passion for learning that can lead to lifelong success, even if they may not see the full impact of their efforts.

This year, each ‘Staying Strong Together’ card serves as a small way to express our gratitude to the dedicated teachers and support staff in our community. For each $8 donation you make, one educator or staff member will receive a free medium beverage and pastry of their choice at any Coffee Trader location in Montrose.
