MCDP Recognizes Montrose County School District Educators and Staff with our 4th Annual ‘Share A Cup Thank You’ Campaign

As another school year comes to an end, the MCDP Outreach Committee wants to recognize the Montrose County School District educators and staff with our 4th annual ‘Share A Cup Thank You’ campaign.

A teaching career faces numerous challenges, such as limited funding, overwhelming paperwork, and long hours. Educators must accommodate diverse learning needs while adapting to frequent shifts in curriculum driven by social and political pressures. The current threats from right-wing extremists—locally and in Washington, DC—further emphasize the urgent need for effective and responsive educational strategies.

While everyone’s reasons for teaching are personal, nearly all educators share a common goal: the desire to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. They hope to ignite a spark that leads to a lifetime of achievement, even if they may never witness its full realization.

Each ‘Share A Cup Thank You’ card represents a small token of appreciation to our Montrose County educators and support staff on behalf of you, the Montrose County community. For each $7 you donate, one teacher or staff member will receive a free medium beverage and pastry of their choice at any Coffee Trader location in Montrose.

We hope you will join us in showing our gratitude to the teachers and support staff in the Montrose County School District for their relentless dedication to rising to meet the challenges of this significant role: preparing our children to be the builders of everyone’s tomorrow.
