Democratic congressional candidate Alex Kelloff is bringing his By the People tour to Montrose on Friday, May 22nd from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Montrose Police Department Community Room, 434 S. First Street. This isn’t a stump speech — it’s a working session built around three things: meeting Alex, joining the discussion, and helping craft the plan for Colorado’s 3rd District.

Alex is a fourth-generation Coloradan with family roots in Trinidad going back to the 1890s, co-founder of Armada Skis, and a longtime business leader now running to unseat incumbent Republican Jeff Hurd. He’s campaigning on protecting our public lands and water, safeguarding Social Security and Medicare, strengthening rural economies and the cost of living squeeze across the Western Slope, and restoring Congress’s role as a coequal branch of government. CO-3 has been decided by margins of less than five points in recent cycles — this seat is winnable, and Alex is making the case that it flips with the right candidate and the right organizing on the ground.
