The Colorado “Get Out The Vote” Bus Tour will stop in Montrose this Saturday, October 27th, beginning at 1:00 PM. The bus will stop in front of MCDP Headquarters at 409 North 1st Street.Montrose. We are blocking off the street to have a street party.
Members on the bus will include:
- Jared Polis, Democratic nominee for Colorado Governor
- Dianne Primavera, Democratic nominee for Colorado Lieutenant Governor
- Michael Bennet, United States Senator
- Ken Salazar, former United States Secretary of the Interior
- Phil Weiser, Democratic nominee for Colorado Attorney General
- Jena Griswold, Democratic nominee for Colorado Secretary of State
- Diane Mitsch-Bush, Democratic nominee for 3rd Congressional District
- Lesley Smith, Democratic nominee for CU Regent At-Large
A chili cookoff with all of the fixings will be served when the bus arrives. Come and meet all of these candidates and elected officials. Have lunch. Get involved.
Use parking lots on North 2nd & Cascade or North 1st and Uncompahgre.
Canvassing will take place from 10:30 AM until the Bus Tour arrival.
Note: This was originally scheduled to take place at Main Street Coffee Trader. It has been moved to accommodate the large crowd we are expecting.
